Femme Rockage (Mon – Thurs 10AM – 2PM)

June 21 – July 1, 2010 @ the Phoenix Theater In the Music Studio (girls 12-18)
Femme Rockage is a free workshop at Petaluma’s Phoenix Theater where young girls can learn from seasoned female instructors how to be in a band, doing everything from playing different instruments to writing their own songs, silkscreening merch and marketing themselves. This one-and-a-half-week summer workshop is just one of the many workshops the Phoenix Theater has to offer at its grandly named Phoenix School of Music. A review oflast year’s Femme Rockage can be found here

Blatant Adventures of Petaluma (youtube version)(Mon – Fri 10AM – 2PM)
July 26 – August 7, 2010 @ the Phoenix Theater In the Music Studio (ages 13-18)

Learn to make your own short with this class! Participants will make their own movie, edit their shots alllll together, and the final product will go on youtube.
