The Petaluma Phoenix Center, also known as the Phoenix Theater, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in support of local youth.

The mission of the Petaluma Phoenix Theater is to foster the emotional, physical and social development of the young people we serve by enabling them to create and engage in programs for music, the arts, and health and wellness, while preserving and improving the historic Phoenix Theater as a resource for youth and the community at large.

FEMME ROCKAGE (Mon - Thurs 10AM - 2PM)
June 21 - July 1, 2010 @ the Phoenix Theater In the Music Studio (girls 12-18)
Femme Rockage is a free workshop at Petaluma's Phoenix Theater where young girls can learn from seasoned female instructors how to be in a band, doing everything from playing different instruments to writing their own songs, silkscreening merch and marketing themselves. This one-and-a-half-week summer workshop is just one of the many workshops the Phoenix Theater has to offer at its grandly named Phoenix School of Music. Blatant Adventures of Petaluma (youtube version)(Mon - Fri 10AM - 2PM)
July 26 - August 7, 2010 @ the Phoenix Theater In the Music Studio (ages 13-18)

Learn to make your own short with this class! Participants will make their own movie, edit their shots alllll together, and the final product will go on youtube.
