Ongoing Music School Events (including weekly drop-in sessions)
Sundays 5-7PM: Rock, Funk, and Blues Jam
Hosted by Gio Benedetti of Toast Machine, this jam consists of 1,2,3 or even 4 chord jams, a 12 bar blues tune or two, and the occasional rock standard. The last Sunday of every month is hosted by the Sonoma County Blues Society, and will focus a bit more on the standard Blues repertoire. It is fun, the gear is provided (or bring your own), and it is loud.
Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm: Jazz Jam
All ages, be able to read a chord chart!
Hosted by Gio Benedetti, this jam focuses on the standard Jazz repertoire and improvisational style. Charts and books in all clefs are provided. All instruments are welcome, and if you know a tune, call it – or better yet, bring us a chart! We’ll play it.
